I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies in Mar 2018
Interview
Phone chat with recruiter, followed by technical phone interview in ~2 weeks. The technical interview involved discussing prior/current projects, and a coding question in the Hackerrank environment. Interviewers/recruiters answered all my questions and were always quick to respond.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies in Sep 2020
Interview
I applied from the Palantir website. I then got a screening call with a recruiter to discuss my motivations . After that, I received a technical test to do, I didn't pass that round.

Interview
Very positive onsite interview experience. The interviews are well tailored and they are great hands-on practice. Before the onsites, had 2 60min online HackerRank coding challenges (2nd needed as the 1st interviewer was not convinced of my CompSci fundamentals). After those, got invited to a first onsite consisting of 3 interviews. First was Front-end coding - code an app inside a jsfiddle given a data endpoint. 2nd was Debugging - Given a Java codebase and a user complaint, figure out what the issue is and fix it - nothing too complicated. 3rd was Decomposition - given a dataset related to a problem, figure out a system that uses that data to solve the problem. The interviewers are interested in your way of tackling and splitting up a larger problem into manageable deliverables that work. Got positive feedback after the on-site, and they called me again for a fit/modivation. This last one was a bit unsettling and rushed. The interviewer was typing everything on their laptop and it was more of an interrogation rather than a conversation.

Question 1
Why do you want to leave your current role? What are you seeking to find here? Why haven't you tried to make your current role like that? Why didn't it work out? Why do you think it'll be different here?
