Interview
I put significant effort on completing the online assessment and was invited to a phone screen approximately two weeks later. Unfortunately, the phone screen process was unprofessional and disappointing.
First, the scheduling was informal compared to what others described online, though this was not the main concern. The interviewer called about 15 minutes late and appeared to be eating during the call, as I could clearly hear chewing sounds. This made me feel disrespected, but I remained focused on the interview.
Additionally, the questions asked were unusual, and I was not given the opportunity to properly discuss my past experience. The entire phone call lasted only about 8 minutes. Three days later, I received a rejection email.
I am not disappointed about the rejection itself but rather about the unprofessional and disrespectful interview process. It made me feel that the significant time and effort I invested in this company were not valued.

Still interviewing — completed a 2-hour take-home interaction design challenge with detailed prompt and instructions. Next is a 45-minute portfolio review focused on design skills, interests, and alignment with their work — mostly digging into the 'whys,' values, and systems thinking.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Take-home: Please show your interaction design skills and point out all the key interactions.
Portfolio: We want to see how your design skills and interests align with the work we do.
I was asked to select a time that works for me. It was a 45 min session with 2 product designers, however I wasn't told how to prepare for the interview or what they are looking for.
