Interview
My immediate supervisor submitted my résumé to HR before my internship ended my last semester in college. I went through 2 rounds of interview. I was applying for a higher level position but when they made the offer they downgraded it due to my lack of experience.
It is quite easy with two rounds of interviews. Not much questions asked. Mainly asked about the past experiences. Hiring manager explained the job scope. HR also briefly mentioned the benefits.
Short first interview with HR, just 15 minutes. No impression at all. Seemed to be the basic filter. Unfortunately, the vacancy was not desired at all, I would like to see more specific in the job description.
Call with HR, then 3 video interviews. The interviews were a bit old time standard with asking weaknesses and all that. It was a bit awkward at times since there was clearly cultural and communication differences. They asked for an Excel work example. And asked my previous salary, which is illegal. In the end they cancelled the job and wasted my time.
