I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Papa John's (Kaneohe, HI) in Jun 2013
Interview
Easy, laid back. Hired on the spot. It was a very quick process. I was called in about a day or two to schedule the interview. Once I got the the interview, the manager was really friendly and it took about 5-10 minutes overall. He asked mostly about my accountability and at the end asked me if I would let him down and then hired me. I showed up about a week later to pick up my uniform, name tag, etc. And started the necessary things to begin my employment.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Papa John's (Show Low, AZ) in Jun 2010
Interview
The application sheet was very easy to fill out and was not at all overwhelming. The interview was a smooth ride as well. You were asked specific questions as to your work ethic and how you'd handle stressful situations, such as orders you placed that were incorrect. It wasn't strenuous or intimidating. The Manager seemed very professional and cared about the work order in his store. Positive interview!
