I was immediately disappointed when I realized that the job I was there to interview for was completely different than the description I was given online. What I believed I was interviewing for was a position called "Clean Energy Specialist" when in reality, every new employee in the company starts out in the same exact role. The individualized positions that they appear to have actually don't really exist. I'm pretty sure the same position is posted on different job boards under different names. The goals of their business (to ultimately switch customers to using clean energy) seems great, but it seems like the goal of the employees are more focused on moving higher up to become managers/making more money and the emphasis is not on their environmental impact at all. The entry-level position also consists of very long work days, door to door sales, and commission based 100% on the sales made. I wish they were more straight forward about what the positions actually were and the company's actual purpose. There are opportunities for growth and to make money, but what the position really was was not at all communicated to me when I was initially interested in the company.
