Interviews for Top Jobs at Paragon Water Systems

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Tampa, FL
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Paragon Water Systems (Tampa, FL) in Nov 2021
Started with an online interview. I explained that I will be in Florida on vacation the following week, and that I could schedule an in-person interview. They agreed. Too half a day out of my vacation to meet them.... total joke. Some didn't show up. A scheduled tour was skipped. They only focused on the negative, as if they were looking for a reason not to hire me. They never followed up over the next couple weeks. I reached out to them and told them it was professional courtesy to reach out to a candidate, especially since I took time out of my vacation to meet with them. - Pay attention to the other interview comments. They are valid.
- What activities did you participate in high school?

6X separate video calls with different management personnel. This presents a problem because these personnel refused to do a 1X or 2X video round table call. This already points to negative company culture (failure to cooperate). On completion of these interviews, one final in-person interview is required. When this was completed, they did not offer the position that I apply for, rather an engineer position. A position I was not interested in and straight up decline right then and there. I started negotiating with Paragon, but they were not open to negotiation on the base salary, or relocation. They refuse to even consider a remote option with the base salary that they offered. If Paragon hiring manager had properly consider the talent's skill level and interest, they should have let the talent know after the 1st interview they were not right for the position they applied. Wasting potential talent's time burns bridges. Be wary of Paragon!
- 1. Describe some challenges you had managing or mentoring others. 2. Describe the product or design release process at your current or previous employer.

Total joke - two phone calls, on on-site (during Covid), had to follow-up for results. Weak employees, clearly lacking qualifications. Total ‘high growth’ (joke) mode. Hey, let’s go public! Do yourself a favor and look up management on LinkedIn before taking process seriously. What you’ll find is less than impressive. So sad. Gosh, water is tough to understand!
- Cumulative reiteration of all life choices since high school.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paragon Water Systems (New York, NY) in Jun 2020
It started with a phone screening from HR. After that I did a phone interview with someone from the parent company, Culligan. Finally I did an on-site interview. It became clear throughout the interviewing process that the position described on the job posting has little in common with the position they are actually hiring for. Sure it would start out as described but it would morph into a position in which all the IT responsibilities of the 160-employee company would rest on one person, from small employee issues to disaster recovery planning. I did the one-man-show thing with a previous company and it is something I will never do again. It is a recipe for a quick burnout. No company's IT department should ever have less than two on staff. I let them know I was no longer interested shortly after the interview was over.
- Do you have experience with Azure?

Submitted a resume on line - had two phone interviews and two in person interviews over 3 weeks and was offered and accepted the position. This was really a very relaxed - not rushed process - I really appreciated the casualness of the phone interview - no pressure =
- Asked me about my prior experience /employer what was done right and what needed improvement = also asked about work attitude.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Saint Petersburg Beach, FL
I interviewed at Paragon Water Systems (Saint Petersburg Beach, FL) in Jul 2017
Spoke with 2 individuals from India. It seemed as though they had no interest in my experience . They had my resume. If they did not feel I was a good fit they shouldn’t have scheduled a interview & wasted my time. I felt disrespected from the start.
- Why did I feel I could make a contribution.

Anonymous Employee in Tampa, FL
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Paragon Water Systems (Tampa, FL) in Apr 2014
First interview, discuss my experience, questions about my comfort with customer service in regards to handling clients and potential need to travel... called back for second interview and was given the job in that interview after discussing salary expectations.
