I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PatSnap (London, England) in May 2022
Interview
It was a very positive process. The talent team was very quick and responsive to any questions or concerns. They set out a clear journey of the interview steps and were correctly followed. Each stage had some interactive questions. The final presentation, the final stage was challenging but fantastic. It was a great opportunity to show the type of person/worker you are and how adaptable you can be in those situations.

Question 1
Provide an example of how you work as part of a team.
Tell me an example of when your manager provided a certain task/skill to work on and how you did it?
Applied for AM role directly via linkedin. Internal recruiter (Jade) was really helpful throughout the process. First couple calls were standard experience checks and pretty relaxed/ conversational. Then had a call with potential team lead (enjoyed this, v.intelligent guy). At the final stage, was tasked with making a deck and presenting on zoom; selling yourself and then a very technical subject (3 to chose from, unrelated to the role but industry specific to their client base). After googling what the subjects even were I was like, you're joking there's literally no way I can do this (can get nervous presenting at the best of times) but they're more testing you're ability to understand something a bit complex and see how you position it back to them. I did spend more prep time on this than some other interviews, and ultimately wasn't offered the job, so slightly disheartening but you're given clear instructions throughout and everyone I came into contact with was genuinely really nice. They did get through the stages quickly and you'll have a decent understanding of what you're signing up for / company culture by the end so overall still a very positive experience.
Glad that you had a positive candidate experience, and we very much appreciate the work that you put into your presentation. Jade always puts her best into making it as seamless as possible and as you said and ensure that candidates are fully informed. Please do consider future opportunities offered at Patsnap and wishing you the best in your career.
The interview process began with an initial round led by the talent acquisition team, followed by a second interview with the line manager. The procedure was clear and efficiently structured, ensuring a stress-free experience. Throughout the recruitment process, the talent acquisition team maintained excellent communication, regularly providing updates and transparency, which was greatly appreciated as it avoided any feeling of being left ghosted.
