I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom in Feb 2013
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter shortly after submitting my application and resume online. We spoke off and on the next few days so he could get a feel for what I was looking for and what they had to offer. I went in to complete assessments to determine the level of my skill sets and had an interview within a week. I was immediately interviewed a second time and was thanked for my time. Roughly 30-45 minutes later I received a phone call and an offer. The interview process isn't the easiest process to go through but I never once felt belittled due to my lack of tax experience. This company simply wants to fit the job to the prospect's skill set and potential. They want to ensure their employees will be happy with their job should they accept.
Had a phone interview and an in person interview. Process was simple and they expected the STAR approach to answering questions. There were 3 people that interviewed me, all were fairly easy-going.
We strive to create a welcoming interview experience for all of our candidates, and it's great to know that we were able to achieve that for you. Thank you for sharing and welcome to the team!
One round phone interview and second round in person interview. Very smooth process which wasn’t very difficult. Asked about previous experiences and your knowledge about tax. The recruiters were friendly and personable during the whole process.

Question 1
How can you relate your past experience to this role?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom (Oklahoma City, OK) in Dec 2024
Interview
A very mellow and interactive interview process. Both ladies were very informative and helpful throughout their questioning and with my questions. I loved how it was a more lengthy interview rather than a very short “ tell me about yourself and why you are good for the job” having more time with both interviewers gave me more information of how paycom thinks, moves, and what it requires from their employees.
