I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom (Oklahoma City, OK) in Jul 2023
Interview
I first did a Zoom interview, then a phone interview and then they called me and offered to go over some practice questions for the in person interview, which ultimately helped me with understanding what Paycom wanted from me as an employee and displayed sympathy and a certain thoroughness from the employer which was unexpected to say the least. It was a bit stress inducing though and was a month long process essentially. My interviewers and recruiters were all really nice though and made sure to answer any questions I had in a timely manner. I was nervous and although two people were interviewing me, I never felt uncomfortable with them and they made the interaction seem...human in a way.

Question 1
"When was a time where you used organizational skills?"
Had a phone interview and an in person interview. Process was simple and they expected the STAR approach to answering questions. There were 3 people that interviewed me, all were fairly easy-going.

One round phone interview and second round in person interview. Very smooth process which wasn’t very difficult. Asked about previous experiences and your knowledge about tax. The recruiters were friendly and personable during the whole process.

Question 1
How can you relate your past experience to this role?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom (Oklahoma City, OK) in Dec 2024
Interview
A very mellow and interactive interview process. Both ladies were very informative and helpful throughout their questioning and with my questions. I loved how it was a more lengthy interview rather than a very short “ tell me about yourself and why you are good for the job” having more time with both interviewers gave me more information of how paycom thinks, moves, and what it requires from their employees.
