A mix of behavioral and technical interview. Sounded like a good company with good team culture. Unfortunately didn't get an offer for the software developer internship, but was a good learning experience.
It was a behavioral interview with typical questions. The interviewer was very nice and shared a lot about the company, not only what they are doing but also the company culture.

Question 1
How would you describe your ideal work environment?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Payment Source (Toronto, ON) in May 2021
Interview
The interview process had three steps, a phone call than second round with the managers followed by a practical assessment. They were all really nice during the interview process. I was selected for the practical assessment round and they made me feel very confident about getting this position. But after the interview they kept delaying the results. At the end they gave me no explanation as to why I wasn't selected and sent me vague email explaining why they chose someone else. I spent 3-4 weeks for this interview process, it was all a waste of time and at the end no proper reason or response was given. The practical assessment presentation required so much detailed research and explanation and I regret putting in a lot of work as they did not even acknowledge.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the experience that you had. We always enjoy meeting amazing candidates throughout the Recruitment process, but unfortunately we can only hire one person. The presentation during the second interview was a way for us to determine who moves into the due diligence stage by assessing specific skills that could not be evaluated in a typical interview structure. We appreciate the time it takes to prepare for these interviews and presentations. A member of our Human Resources team always gets back to our candidates after an interview to let them know the status. If you would like additional information or feedback regarding your interview, please feel free to contact us directly at HR@Paymentsource.ca.
