Pepperfry Software Developer/Technical Lead interview questions

Got call from consultancy for my profile details. After few days I got a call from same consultancy that my profile has been shortlisted and they want to schedule a F2F interview with me in there Kanjurmarg Office On the day of Interview (December second week), 1 Technical interview pretty much standard question nothing too difficult. 1 HR discussion mainly related to my salary expectations and my documents. After 1 week on the interview, got call from the consultancy that Pepperfry is working on my offer and i can expect to receive it by coming week. After 2 weeks of my interview, still no offer but again got a call from the Consultancy that I dont need to worry I will soon receive an offer from pepperfry delay is because some management person is travelling so I should expect to get my offer by December last week or Jan first week. In Jan second week I didnt hear anything from either the consultancy nor from Pepperfry. So I drop an email asking status and after 4 - 5 days I get reply that your profile is not SHORTLISTED because your WORK EXPERIENCE IS LITTLE SHORT. (Isnt it the first thing anyone check before calling some one for the interview and making fake promises of an offer)
