      Future Leader Sales Interview

      May 4, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PepsiCo (New York, NY) in Mar 2014

      Interview

Very enjoyable, organized, and efficient. Took a bit longer however! I had interviews initially with HR via phone, Skype interviews, and in person as well. I would be prepared to have many stories to back up the questions asked, this seemed to be the most beneficial. Prepare and research the company, product, and current initiatives.

      Question 1

Situational Questions: Describe a situation in which you sold something and were successful?

      Interview

Interviews started with a phone call, then a route ride followed up by a interview after the ride along. A personality test was also administered online. The questions were straightforward and concise in both the test and in person.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PepsiCo (Portland, OR) in Dec 2015

      Interview

Long, comprehensive, but definitely worth while. They really look at you as a sales person and human from many different angles. Make sure to have your answers thought out. They do not like "um's"

      Interview

There are 3-4 stages. Pretty intense process. Lots of behavioral based questions. Be ready to show your genuine passion, as they only hire 10% of applicants so you have to be ready to make yourself stand apart.
