Performance Software Software Engineer interview questions

Initial phone call with assistant - 15 mins Phone call with recruiter to discuss things about job and assignment - 20-25 mins Take home assignment. Interview to talk about take home. Interviewer ended up getting covid and I didn’t get a response until I asked about 2 weeks later. Was told positions were filled, so basically just a big waste of time and kept me waiting with no communication.

There was an assignment to make a software design doc, software requirement doc, and pseudo code for a garage door opener software. They said to take 4 hour on it. Got a call back for a 1 and a half hour interview. Was told that I was going to be talking to two people, instead it was five. Felt like a too much of a time commitment just for interviewing.
