I had an initial telephone screening with their "talent acquisition representative" who then scheduled me to meet individually (via videoconference) with two team members, one of whom confessed that she hadn't reviewed my online portfolio before the meeting. This was a huge red flag which usually indicates that they had no intention of hiring me and were just interviewing me in order to check off the EEO compliance box (a portfolio is more important than a resume in the field of design). I received no follow-up and never even received a rejection email.
