I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PerkinElmer (Jurong West New Town, ) in Mar 2022
Interview
It was at some roadshow whereby I just walked in. Straight away I told him I do not have a degree but have vast experience as well as a good track record in Sales Management supplying to Defense / Aerospace / Medical / Semicon / Manufacturing / Space Travels. I clearly stated it is ok NOT to continue. He chose to continue but after months there was not a single feedback. My advise to job seekers (above 50) without a degree, do GRAB / AMAZON / any long hours jobs which pay averagely $5000 a month and when the opportunity comes, go into business. That's the only way unless you will be happy by offers of $1200 to $2500. Nobody will help you achieve your target so STOP dreaming. Start DOING.
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PerkinElmer (Boston, MA) in Jun 2017
Interview
So disorganized. They have lots of new people so understood in the beginning. It doesn't seem like they know their roles and responsibilities between hiring manager, recruiter and HR all going in different directions. When asked about culture and amount of travel everyone had a different answer. All the onsite interview panel had different objectives. They will not advance unless they get on the same page. Even after a 7 months process I wouldn't have been a good fit for an organization who is all on a different page.
