I applied for a position of software engineer at Personio via an advert on LinkedIn. Then after a couple of weeks an HR person contacted me via email and scheduled an initial HR call. It was smooth and basic HR questions were asked. Then after that there was a technical interview with an Engineering Manager. During that interview technical questions were asked. After that I received a take home assignment to be completed and after submitting that there was a follow up interview with a panel of three. There they asked me to run the application that I developed in the assignment and asked questions based on that. I had not covered some of the edge cases in the application and some feedback was also provided on certain things that I had done. So that was all for me and they informed me that they are not moving forward with me. Overall it was a good experience .

Racism experienced at the first contact during the first screening call with the HR person, he exhaled in disappointment as soon as I joined the call, treated me with lack of interest and respect, was rude and showed no interest.

Non responsive recruiters right from the start. They sound excited in each call. Then disappear for weeks stating no availability.
Then schedule, and disappear again for weeks.
Chase them for feedback. You may get some may not get some.
Then be scheduled in another month.
Then keep chasing recruiters.
Final decision / feedback never comes.
How difficult is it to communicate a hire / no hire.
Even if the candidate does not join, they should leave with a positive impression about the culture. Sadly I cannot say that based on my experience
Hr and technical round. Medium level interview. Focused on analysing you in hr. And also some technical questions in hr round. That is all. Keep cool
