Very quick applied with in few days had teams call with the area manager that was chat and few questions about my experience, why I wanted to work for pets at home, was very relaxed I was really worried as not had intveiw for over 18 years was like chat about myself and my experience, then next day got call for next stage which was a trial shift which again loved every minute of it which they gave me a trolly of items which I had to put out while at same time talking to member of staff ,then I hade to handle some the animals which was really lovely, then I had ago on the tills which was amazing, then final stage of trial I had another chat with senior manager asking me questions was amazing experience then with in hour off getting home was offered the job great process and can't wait to start now.

Unusual questions to begin with but got into more normal ones as interview progressed. Friendly interviewer, was a very professional and pleasant experience. Lovely well stocked and engaging store. Very welcoming and strong team already in place.

Relatively relaxed and friendly interview with manager and area manager. Typical questions about previous retail and management experience and what are your examples of management and how you have trained and coached team members. Asked about experience with animals, how you feel about being hands on with animals.
