Interviewed for a Client Operations-related role at Piermont Bank. The interviewers were professional, communicative, and generally transparent throughout the process. I completed multiple rounds of interviews and received positive feedback along the way. The main downside was the hiring timeline and shifting internal direction. After several follow-ups and delays tied to internal discussions, I was ultimately informed that the role had been deprioritized or potentially placed on hold. While I understand business needs can change, the extended uncertainty made the process frustrating from a candidate perspective. Overall, the people I interacted with were respectful and professional, but the hiring process itself felt somewhat unstructured due to changing internal priorities.
