    Interview

    Had to travel to Dallas for classes and certification at your expense. The training facility is good, as were the instructors. It was on-site management that was unprofessional, and set a terrible tone for the work environment.

    Web Developer Interview

    Anonymous Employee in Mobile, AL
    Accepted Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

    I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pilot Catastrophe Services, Inc. (Mobile, AL) in October 2013.

    Interview

    Working through a recruiter, I went directly to an in-person interview with the hiring manager. It mainly consisted of him selling me on his geek cred and development plans. We talked a lot about technology and methodology trends. There weren't a lot of probing or in-depth questions. It was mostly just a friendly rap session.

    Easy Interview

    Application

    I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Pilot Catastrophe Services, Inc. (Mobile, AL) in April 2012.

    Interview

    There isn't an interview. They will have someone call you and ask some questions about your background experience and about license and certifications.
    You come to one of their certification training (which they have several throughout the year);
    You get an adjuster license for the state where you live (they have someone who can guide you with this if necessary);
    If you have some experience, you might be called faster, if not, you will need to wait for a storm strong enough for them to send more people to be trained;
