I apologize that your experience was a negative one - we do all we can to get candidates feedback in an efficient and timely manner, and this is not something we like to hear from our valued applicants.
Because we take these reviews very seriously so we can make sure we get it right if something went wrong, we researched this particular issue and, after searching through the emails sent out to all applicants for this position (there were several hundred in our applicant tracking system), it shows that all applicants received an email with their updated status on May 8th, 2019 at approximately 10:01 PM ET.
Because it comes out of our applicant tracking system and because it's an email, sometimes it can land in your spam/junk/other folder.
