Extremely frustrating and time wasting hiring process from which you will learn nothing about your suitability for the role.
This particular role has been advertised through Plexxis' website and hiring platforms such as Indeed for nearly two years as far as I can tell. This leads me to believe that the company is not actively hiring but rather just pooling candidates for a possible future hire.
I have applied for this particular role on three occasions, the first time I was rejected with the standard 'unfortunately we have decided not to move forward with your application'.
The second time I received an automated response to fill out a further questionnaire, not great as you would expect that your resume, cover letter and additional questions that they ask in your initial application would be enough to warrant a conversation with an actual person working at Plexxis but thats how things are it seems.
After submitting this application I received a second questionnaire, this time including a field to upload a video in which you are expected to detail why you are the right candidate for the job. Again, this is now the third round of questions, if you include the initial application which also included uploading a cover letter and resume.
At this point I found that the video upload field would not allow me to submit a video, after trying again with several different browsers and devices to no avail I tried to get in contact with somebody at Plexxis. The emails from which you are sent these questionnaires are all 'no-reply' addresses, so I could not get in touch with somebody that way. I tried reaching out through their contact form on the Plexxis website to which I also received no response.
A week or so passed before I was sent another email explaining that I need to fill out the second questionnaire to proceed, again I tried to contact Plexxis to explain that I cannot upload the video, no dice.
Finally after another week passed I received an email saying that my application has been withdrawn due to my lack of reply. I sent a final email expressing my dissapointment, nothing.
Fast forward a year or so and I decide to apply for this position again, which is strangely still available. This time I get through to the first questionnaire again, which I filled out with what I can imagine were similar answers to what got me through to the second questionnaire a year prior. However this time I was rejected without being progressed to the second questionnaire. What is the criteria here?
All in all a very poor experience, who even knows how many more questionnaires or interview steps this company will put you through to be considered for an entry level position.
