I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Podpak (Bristol, England) in Feb 2020
Interview
Informal and laid back. Nothing too out of the ordinary at all. Standard interview questions you would expect. Very quick phone interview then a face to face interview. Also a quick turn around time.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Podpak (Bristol, England) in Jan 2021
Interview
Extremely casual and unprofessional.
The QA manager had clearly never looked at my CV before; making statements that I had no food experience when I had over 4 years clearly detailed on my CV.
I was not asked any questions during this interview. Instead, I learned extensively about the manager’s divorce, personal life and want to live on a boat. I also learned about how high their turnover is.
I expressed that I was not interested at the end of the interview and the process did not progress.

Question 1
I was only asked to briefly detail my food experience after the manager stated I had none and I corrected her.
Prior to the interview, I got a phone call for an informal chat. After the chat, I was sent an invitation for the interview. It was a Zoom interview with 2 other employees in the Technical team. It was done in a relaxed and professional setting. The interview was conducted for about 40 mins
