I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Point72 (Singapore) in Dec 2021
Interview
The Hr will email without addressing your name. They will use email like a chat app. Some emails are lost in the cross communication and I have to send multiple emails to ask the details about the interview. 1st round one portfolio manager from US will interview and shares info about the team. 2nd round they will send a 3 hour timed project. I feel they have already recruited someone and just conducted my interview to fill the quota (It is Singapore requirement). Project was easy but I was not called for the following round. After interviewing with other Hedge funds, I realized, that point72 employees lack politeness. Overall I think, it is better to apply through employee referral rather than applying on your own.

Interview
Very technical based for multiple rounds (6+) focusing on calculus, probability, stats, and a few brain teasers. There is a coding test at the end, where you are given a certain time frame to submit back.
Introducing yourself, and went deep on past project experience, the interviewer went quite deep on describing those projects. Followed by two tech questions. Both questions are about probabilities and stats.
