Process: interview with recruiter, 2nd interview with hiring manager, take-home assignment, four-hours of back to back "on-site" interviews. Product sounds like it has potential, and is certainly in a high-demand industry, but the team is frankly clueless all across the board. Absolute amateur-hour every step of the way, despite having a more complicated, time-wasteful interview process than numerous FAANG companies I have recently interviewed with. Don't waste your time.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PolicyFly (Remote) in Nov 2022
Interview
First round was usual meeting with head of engineering side. Second round was a take home assignment. Simple connect to api, get data, display it on a page. Style it like in the example. This is using Vue and vuetify. Took about 2-3hrs to do. Project was submitted. A week to wait for reply and was turned down without any feedback which is unfortunate considering the time invested and positive feedback from initial interview. Company doesn't seem to be interested in feedback either when discussing web accessibility and good practices for web development in first interview . Perhaps they are sensitive.
