Interview was very fast and not your typical interview. Much more conversing and friendly. I enjoyed interviewing because it felt a lot more comfortable. Anyone can interview! Managers are nice.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Popbar (Calgary, AB) in Jul 2016
Interview
It was quite a long interview, lasted about 40 mins. Was interviewed by 2 owners. They haven't interviewed people before so they asked a lot of questions. Lots of personality and customer-related questions. Once the interview was over, they asked if I had any questions I wanted to ask them. Pretty standard.

Question 1
Have you dealt with a difficult customer before and what did you do?
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Popbar (New York, NY) in Feb 2011
Interview
The interview was with one of the owners and was really relaxed and typical. No tricky questions, nothing out of the ordinary. The interview was a typical behavioral/personality interview to ensure the candidate is a good fit for the existing values, environment, and staff of the establishment. Key skills/experience they were searching for involve past experience in food establishments, but this was not a requirement as they have a pretty good training program in place to get you situated should you receive an offer.

Question 1
One of the owners is Italian and he asked me some questions in Italian (only because I put on my resume that I spoke Italian) and this was really the "most difficult" part of the interview.
