Presidents Summit interview questions

Received an email after applying to do an assessment. Went well and was invited to a in-person interview. the day of the interview when I was already on my way to the locations (40mins before the interview), I was told that a candidate just accepted an offer and there is no need to come in anymore. Most unprofessional way to cancel an interview, also by not being transparent that they already made an offer . Absolutely not to recommend!
