I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Primark (Bradford, Yorkshire and the Humber, England) in Aug 2016
Interview
The interviewer was friendly and asked questions about hobbies and interests. The interview didn't last very long, it was probably around 20 minutes. I received a phone call within a couple of days with a job offer.
Straightforward, relaxed interview process with one member of their management team. No complicated questions asked, all to be expected for this type of position. I was made to feel at ease.
Casual chat with some situational questions, such as prioritisation, and some personality type questions too, and why do you want to work here etc, they also gave a tour of the back of the shop but not in massive depth

Question 1
Which of these issues would you address first? Sorting a shelf, answering a clients question, redesigning the display
Asked questions from a booklet. It was my first ever interview experience and the employer was really really helpful with easing my nerves, even though I struggled to answer questions.
