Prominence Marketing interview questions

When I read the job description for marketing/event associate it sounded like what I was looking for, an event coordinator on the back end of the business. When I got called fr an interview she described it as marketing research and coordinating. When I read the reviews on here I was skeptical and almost didn't go. They called me to confirm the interview in which I confronted them with the contents of these reviews, such as selling free phones for $10/hour for sprint. The lady on the phone said no its not like that at all, I have you down for marketing so you wouldn't be doing that. I go into the interview with a different lady who describes that EXACT job and acts like she doesn't know why the other lady denied this. Waste of my time. Walked out.

You will get a email like this: Prominence Marketing has received your submitted resume and would like to discuss with you further the opportunity we have here within our company. I knew something was up when over the phone the girl would not give me a straight answer. I asked what I would be doing and all she kept saying is marketing/ branding for our clients. What it comes down to is they want you to work for Sprint. This has nothing to do with marketing/branding like I assumed. All they are looking for is people to work with low income people to give free phones. The actual job is not something I will input on but the shady and vague practices to lure people into the interview is sad. They used to be based in Thousand oaks before. Instead of wasting time and gas for people they could honest from the beginning. If you get a call about an interview know what you are doing. The company they are really working with is Assurance wireless.
