I had an initial phone interview with the Vice President of Recruiting. It was just an overview of the company and the role. The only question he asked me was did I have any sales experience. After that I was invited to a webinar. It really had nothing to do with me since it is geared towards licensed loan officers. After that I was asked how I liked the webinar and can I come to the office for a second interview. At the interview did a little research on about the mortgage industry which impress the hiring director and I was offered the job on the spot.

You are invited to attend a webinar - at first it seems like a dog and pony show. Big rah rah and sales director tells you all they can do and have done and how you will makes lots of money. They tell you about their LOS - Encompass and their CRM Leads 360. How other people closed 6-7 deals a month. Per the reports I've seen maybe one or two pampered LO's close that and they both have assistants. LO's do 99% of processing. This is a 100% commission job.
