I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2018
Interview
The process started with a recruiter reaching out to set up a telephone screening interview. This was the typical recruiter type convo walking through my CV, telling me about the role, asking about salary expectations, etc. She set up a call with one of the Directors in the department which took place 5 or 6 days later. This call was pretty laid back with the guy walking through my CV, telling me more about the role and the department, and expectations of the job (it was financial due diligence). Call was about 30 minutes and nothing difficult. One week later they reached out to set up a case study interview in office which was to take place the following week. Got to the office and met the Director who I spoke with on the phone and he gave me the case which I had an hour to complete and then present my findings to him. The case was a FDD where it laid out info about a company and then asked to analyse QoE, Net debt, and NWC. It was very technical and the time was way too short to do a meaningful analysis. The presentation to the Director went ok, was still laid back and took about 25 minutes.
