ICAI Campus hiring program, where PWC had shortlisted my profile and opted for virtual interview. They asked questions on auditing and it went well but unfortunately I was not selected. (Interview center : Hyderabad)
Suppose you are auditing a holding company, how would you give your opinion on the fact that the holding company has given guarantee to the loan taken by its subsidiary company from third party.
How would you do the audit of Account payables if it is in large numbers, as in would opt for sampling techniques or go for vouching of complete items in a population.
The interview process started with an HR screening followed by a technical interview. The interviewer asked about my resume, projects, programming concepts, object-oriented programming, SQL, APIs, and problem-solving approach. The discussion was friendly, and they also asked about my previous work experience and availability.
Technical interview asked from the core concepts. They try to understand the capability of a person. There might be some areas that are not up to the mark but if you show interest in learning than it is easy to get it cleared
