      Interview

      Qlik focuses a lot on the five core values, see homepage for more details. A good candidate proves living the core values in current and previous positions. The Lund site resides in modern and spacious building by the hi-way. Normally there are 3-4 interviews before, with additional practical skill tests when applicable. Interview focus is often on personality and qualities, instead of immediate skills.

      Interview

      The interview process at Qlik was well structured & there were 5 rounds in total. 1. HR Screening: A quick introduction calls on my background and notice period. HR was friendly and clearly explained the next steps. 2. Technical Round: This round focused on technical skills and knowledge on data integration. 3.Managerial Round: A mix of behavioral and situation questions. 4. Interview with Director: A mix of behavioral and situation questions and the work process & expectations for this role. 5. HR Round: Overall Impression: The panel was respectful and asked relevant questions and gave enough time to think and respond. Feedback was prompt and the entire process completed in about 2 weeks. The HR was supportive and was available and responded every time for all the feedback and updating on the next steps. Offer discussion and onboarding communication were smooth and professional.

      I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Qlik (Barcelona) in May 2025

      Interview

      Had initial screening call, which went well. Friendly and professional. Got call-back for second interview. This was with the reporting manager and I think someone that would be on my team. Manager asked the usual situation questions and was very professional. The other person in the interview was difficult to understand (they didn't have a good grasp of the English language and this was for an English speaking position). I was unable to understand the questions asked and they didn't seem to understand any questions I asked, especially the technical ones. I was also asked to describe the role I am applying for, which I found very unusual. This is something that you, as a potential employee, would learn about from the people working there, during these types of interviews. Any knowledge I had about what the role involved was in the job description posted. I didn't receive any feedback after this 2nd interview, so I am assuming I didn't move forward with the process because I didn't read back the job description. This interview would have been followed by a technical interview, which again was unusual. So despite having years of experience and matching the skillset for the job, I wasn't given the opportunity to highlight this.
