I walked into RD Enterprises office, the outside of the office is kind of a sketchy area. I was welcomed by their secretary. I sat down and filled out a form and waited for the CEO to interview. By this point, it was obvious RD Enterprises had a partnership with RCN (Their only partner). After a few minutes RD Enterprises CEO walks over to me and I follow him to his office. Honestly the guy was nice but started with a monologue about sales and the structure of working up in his company. After about 10 minutes of him just speaking about the sales side, I say " I was under the impression I applied for a Marketing Assistant position and not a sales position. This is probably not the job for me." He immediately explained that with my customer service background he thought I was here for a Sales Rep position. I feel that was a lie and he was trying to truly recruit sales reps. Now if you have no issue with sales jobs then this company may be the fit for you but for other positions that they post online, do not bother applying unless you want to be deceived into doings sales.
I also want to note, I am in no way bitter of never getting an offer with this company and hold no ill will towards the company. I just want to warn others of what they are getting into.
