1. Screening, took about 40 minutes. Questions like "What drew you to our company?" and "Tell me about your experience and how it relates."
2. Sent the formal application to fill out, which included questions like "What are your qualifications for this position?" and "How do you prioritize your work to ensure all tasks are completed by a deadline? Provide an example." Was also sent Word Document with even more supplemental questions similar to the above, which I was told was to "give them a sample of my writing." Finally, they also wanted me to write a cover letter.
3. First interview was virtual. Much of the same questions, again, also some "Tell me about a time you made a mistake and how you learned from it" and "Tell me about how you work in groups."
4. They then scheduled me for a 2nd interview, which would be in person, and a PowerPoint presentation created by me. They sent me the scenario's, both of which I found had very little to do with GIS, and wanted me to create a PowerPoint presentation that would last about 50 minutes. This is where I declined to go further.
