Interview
Assessment day.
The day consisted of several stages: an interview, aptitude test and a group exercise. Approx 10 candidates attended and they were of varying backgrounds: post graduates, undergraduates and a school leaver.
The atmosphere was welcoming and all of the key members / heads of departments within the group attended at different stages of the day. They spoke about how they found their role in the group. It was interesting to see the career trajectories.
The interviewers were friendly and there weren't any trick questions - they really did just want to go over what you've done in the past and why you think you'd be suited for the role.
The group exercise was very enjoyable and gave you a good insight into what working with the team might be like.
The standard is very high but this was reflected in the overall professionalism of the people running the assessment day. You really did get the impression that this is a company that will invest in you as an employee.
All travel expenses were paid for and lunch was provided.
Excellent experience.
