The interview process consisted of 4-5 stages. The first was an initial screening, followed by a second interview with the hiring manager that focused somehow on product questions. The third interview unexpectedly focused heavily on math and analytical problem-solving questions, which felt less aligned with a typical Product Manager role and hiring process. Overall, the process was structured but the shift in focus during the third interview was surprising & odd.

Interview
I went through 3 stages with Raisin:
1. Recruiter screen
2. Interview with the Head of Product
3. Live case study with Head of Product & CPO
Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing, mainly because of the recruitment process. The recruiter interaction felt surprisingly unfriendly and did not leave a strong impression of the company’s people culture.
What stood out to me even more was the lack of meaningful feedback after the final stage. After investing time into multiple interviews and a live case study, I received only a standard rejection message with no real explanation. For a company of this size, especially one with a Chief People Officer involved in the process, I would expect a more thoughtful candidate experience.
It is also hard not to notice that some roles at Raisin seem to remain open for months, sometimes much longer. From the outside, this raises questions about how effectively the recruiting process is managed.
The product and business are interesting, but the candidate experience, at least in my case, did not reflect the level of maturity I would expect from the company.
5 rounds of interview, HR, Product lead, Business Case study, Product Case Study, and team meet. The business case study is about testing reaction, and if you ask the right question and some simple math. Be confident and ask why is good.
