I was approached by a recruiter via LinkedIn. She arranged a Skype interview a few days later. The Skype meeting lasted more than an hour. She briefly described the role, life at Rakuten, the salary range and what are the next phases of interview. She asked about myself and my skill-sets in general. After the Skype session, the recruiter followed up on LinkedIn that the Hiring Manager has already found a senior person for the job.
