multiple rounds happened and team showed interest, they changed the compensation budget after liking my profile, it went on for 1.5 months .. phew!

Interview
I applied through Wellfound. I got a call from HR two weeks after my application to schedule an interview.
Round 1 (DSA and Coding Round):
The interviewer introduced herself, and I introduced myself as well. She also briefed me about the company and the role. We briefly went through my resume and past experience. Then she told me that she would ask two coding questions and expected me to code one and share the approach for the other (and code it if time allowed).
The questions were standard: 1. Valid Parentheses, and 2. Move Zeros to End. I coded both in C++ and the second one in Python as well (I was practicing DSA in C++). I cleared the round.
I got a call from HR the next day to schedule a interview with the team lead.
Round 2:
He introduced himself, and I introduced myself as well. He went through my resume and asked me some questions about it. Then he asked one question about HTTP methods and to explain a request-response cycle. The second question was about Promises in JavaScript (as mentioned in my resume).
Two days later, I got a call from HR and was told that I was selected for this role.
Overall, the interview experience was good.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Regie.ai in Jul 2025
Interview
The interview process had four stages. It began with an initial HR screening to understand my background and fit for the role. This was followed by a portfolio review where I walked the team through my case studies and design process. Next came a whiteboarding exercise that tested problem-solving and collaboration skills. The final round focused on cultural fit and alignment with the company’s values.
Overall, the process was well-structured and gave me a clear sense of both the role expectations and the team culture.
