Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Republic Services (Oakland, CA) in Sep 2024
Interview
I submitted my application through the company's online portal and was subsequently contacted by the human resources department to arrange a phone interview. They provided me with the option of scheduling the interview for either Thursday or Friday, and I opted for Friday at 1:30 pm. However, I did not receive the anticipated phone call at the agreed-upon time. In an effort to accommodate any unexpected circumstances that may have arisen for the interviewer, I sent an email proposing alternative time slots, but unfortunately, I did not receive a response. This lack of communication and follow-up was highly unprofessional.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Republic Services (Milpitas, CA) in Jan 2024
Interview
I received a phone call in the late afternoon from what I assume to be the hiring manager. He initially thought I had spoken to someone else before him. He then conducted a phone interview with me going over my resume, The interview was all over the place and it gave me the impression that he wasn't used to doing interviews. Then someone else got on the call and started asking me questions that were already asked. The whole conversation felt like an interrogation rather than an interview.
