Interviews at Reward

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Reward (London, England) in Nov 2022
I saw the role on LinkedIn, and contacted the recruiter - had an initial Teams interview with the hiring manager which was an overview of my experience and competency based questions lasting an hour. I had to request a follow up session because I had no opportunity to ask questions, and that was useful. Feedback from the recruiter was positive and I was asked to prepare a case study for the next stage. Following on from that (also a Teams interview lasting an hour), and despite following up with the recruiter, I received no further feedback. I appreciate a company may not want to go through to final stage with a candidate, or circumstances change but to hear absolutely nothing is both disappointing and unprofessional.

Interviews are a quick process, they don't take weeks like the bigger companies. Usually they are looking for a good fit to the company. It may have changed as the company has grown

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Reward (London, England) in Jun 2022
I heard about the role through an excellent recruitment agency (Xcede) which looks after all of Reward's recruitment. Call 1 - initial informal call with another Head of department Interview 1 • Hour 1 Competency Interview • Hour 2 Case Study (nothing to prepare) • Hour 3 Case Study Review Interview 2 In person interview with hiring manager

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Reward in Nov 2021
I called the recruiter about the role to find out more about the process. Hearing about my own experience and skills he said he thought the Marketing Director would be interested and sent my CV across. Not long after, I was asked to have a 30 min interview with the Marketing Director. This went well, and then I was asked to come back for a 'final' interview, where I would present back a task to the Marketing Director and the UK MD. The UK MD didn't show up for the interview, but the Head of CRM did. We had an hour - I presented for 15-20mins, and then answered questions for the remaining time. What I found incredibly frustrating was that after this point, I had to repeatedly try to get in touch with the recruiter over the following 2-3 weeks to get any feedback or information on whether or not a decision had been reached or what was happening with the process. I heard "I'll get some news or feedback for you today" at least three times... For a relatively senior position where I'd reached the 'final stage' and been asked to complete a task and present as part of the process, I felt that being ignored with zero information in the aftermath lacked professionalism and respect for my time, and the experience left me with a poor image of the company. In addition - the feedback (eventually) was that while we'd got on really well, the Marketing Director felt that she was looking for someone with more experience. This is completely valid, but also something that could have been determined from my CV rather than decided weeks after final interview and task stage... All in all, while everyone I spoke to seemed very nice, I was very disappointed with the way the process was handled.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Reward
The interview process at Reward included a number of rounds of conversational meetings with various leadership contacts throughout the organisation. No presentation, competency or personality tests were required at the time. Background check required once offer accepted.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Reward (London, England) in May 2018
Interview only lasted ten minutes before the interviewer handed over to me for my questions and then proceeded only to give one word answers to anything I asked. Unacceptable in my book.

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Reward (London, England)
A fairly informal process but gained a much greater understanding of the company and role that I applied for. I was interviewed by 2 people which always make it slightly more difficult to focus, especially when they sit on different sides of the table. Overall it was one of easier interviews that I've had.
