I found Rightway to be unprofessional in their interview process. I was contacted a month after applying to the role and was basically told the original job posting changed from backend engineer to full stack and that they wanted to interview me.
There were 7 interview total. One with a recruiter, 1 hiring manager interview, 3 interviews with 3 different engineers, an interview with a product manager, and a final interview with the company CTO.
The individual interviewers were generally polite and nice. The coding interview wasn't that bad, just frontend and backend related code implementation refactoring.
The negative part came after the interviews were completed. I was kept on the hook for a full month after my final interview with consistent "delays" for the final decision. I'm not sure why a decision would possibly take that long but that will remain a mystery. I was finally told that I didn't get the position because they were, once again, "rescoping the position" where the new position requirements did not fit my background.
I found this to be extremely unprofessional to put someone through 7 rounds of interviews only at the end to decide to change the role completely and reject them. What an utter waste of time.
