I applied online. I interviewed at Rillet (San Francisco, CA) in May 2026
Interview
First - 30 min introduction with recruiter
Second - 30 min behavioral interview with hiring manager
Third - 30 min Mock onboarding call and analytical accounting data analysis with two other deployment managers where they gave feedback after the discussion. I regret not asking questions upfront to clarify what they were looking for in both discussions because I did not make the correct assumptions on how to prepare. I should have also demo'd the product and not just read about the features. The prompts were broad and they were not hiring for transferrable skills but rather can you start on day one to essentially sell the product functionality even if you have not used the tool. It was a lot to cover in 30 minutes. I spent a lot of time preparing for both parts to only have about 12 minutes to rush through each.
Fourth - did not get this far, believe this would have been discussion in person with the Deployment VP

Question 1
Do you have any questions for us (asked with one minute left in the call and had hard cut-off)
Was sent home with a case study, which required preparation before speaking with hiring manager. Was asked behavioral questions then given no time to present the case, which was expected to take the full time of the interview slot.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rillet in Feb 2026
Interview
Very positive experience, start to finish. Every interviewer was actively engaged and kind along the way. I had 4 interviews total, and it took around 2 weeks. The recruiter kept me up to date the entire time and was happy to help when I needed to change an interview time at the last minute. It's refreshing to see after experiencing some cold interviewers in other company processes.

Walk me through the messiest deal from the last year. Who was involved, what broke, and how did you keep it from falling apart?
