      SQL Developer/Database Administrator Interview

      Aug 31, 2010
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Robert Half in Aug 2010

      Interview

Well, Robert Half Technical contacted me I think. Hard to remember because I put my resume online a few weeks ago and every headhunter and their grandma has been contacting me ever since. First we communicated over the phone. Then I came in to one of their local offices and met one on one. After that they wanted me to meet with three staff members in another local office (they don't validate parking - what's with that?). Beyond that I don't know because that's where we are right now. I have to say though, things are getting a little strange. They're setting me up for interviews with their clients WITHOUT checking with me first. The most heads up I get is maybe a day and a half. I've told them to quit it - that I need more lead time. My goal is to get into their Salaried Professional Services (SPS) program but it seems they want me to land a gig first before they'll offer it. I can understand that to a point - but even if the interview (with their client) goes well, I'm still going to have to see the SPS program contract first. Just to make sure there's no loop holes in there for them. I'm a bit skeptical at this point I guess.
