Perhaps unusual. 1/2 day of interviews, met with a number of people individually and some in groups. At the time everyone was friendly, and I was well prepared, which payed off.

1, a phone call from the recruiter about the candidate's basic situation, such as visa and relocation.
2, phone call with hiring manager, discussing detailed research experience.
3, formal interview from 8am-3pm: i) a 45min seminar talk+15min Q/A; ii) interview with colleagues in the hiring group and collaborating group. Each person 30min-45min.
