I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rockstar Games (Lincoln, England) in May 2019
Interview
You first complete a video interview where you're asked about your gaming history, your history with Rockstar, and your thoughts on QA practices. After that you meet in person. The first half is a game test where you follow precise instructions in-game. If you do well there you then have a more casual interview. My piece of advice - be super familiar with the game they're testing you on. Train yourself in every mechanic and aspect of the game. You'll do better if you've been playing for months or years.
Process was quick. Within 3 days the process was completed. Interviewers were respectful and friendly. It was basically 2 round interview for me. 1st is verbal and the 2nd is grammer.
