The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rockstar Games (New York, NY) in Sep 2024
Interview
interview with employee. next round. salary offer. This is the process. They will go over your resume and past experience to ensure you are the right candidate for the job
First interview was a phone interview with the recruiter, the next one was with HR Manager. Unfortunately, I did not have the domain experience and did not make it beyond that stage.

Interview
This might be a long one.
I interviewed at Rockstar about a year ago. I got contacted by an HR rep/talent acquisitions. They first have you do one of those self-record interviews and have you answer a few basic questions.
Got scheduled for a 2-on-1 interview with two people in the department, who, as soon as I got on, seemed like they didn't want to be there. The more senior level person asked me general PM questions, told me about the role. They eventually asked me if i'm familiar with the company and it's games, I went into detail enthusiastically about yes, i've known the company for years, etc. They kept a pretty deadpan tone the whole interview, and the more senior employee admitted they didn't even know the games much before joining. I answered all their questions, which wasn't many because they clearly wanted it to be over asap. Gave them the same answers that have gotten me to final rounds at least at other companies. Inevitably got a rejection a couple days later. Felt like i was completely glossed over for no reason and no real feedback was given.
Good luck trying to impress them/catch them in a good mood.
THEN this role proceeded to be reposted over and over again for months. Tried to contact them again and they told me I wasn't qualified now because they wanted someone with A, B, and C-- things that were not even mentioned anywhere on the job description.
Really disappointing and frustrating experience from a company that I generally admire.
