I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Rockwell Automation (Atlanta, GA) in Jan 2017
Interview
This was an on-campus behavioral interview. It was around an hour and a half or two hours with one person. It was extremely repetitive, since I had already spoken with the recruiter for about an hour the day before. They turned me down about four months later. I was disappointed that the recruiter said it was because they have a strict GPA cutoff - that seemed very unprofessional considering she had known what was my GPA was throughout both of our interviews. When you're in college, it's best to get feedback after you're denied a job. Telling me my GPA wasn't high enough was basically the recruiter ending the conversation. And if that really was the reason, then the recruiters wasted hours of my time during the very packed interview season.

Question 1
Tell us about a challenge you have faced in the workplace, and how you handled that challenge
The recruiter who I spoke to was disinterested, unprofessional, and extremely robotic during my phone screen interview. She never once asked for elaboration or even responded to my answers, just moved into the next question. Then she ghosted me despite telling me she'd let me know next steps. I hope recruiters like her don't get treated the same way they treat other people.

Question 1
'How do you generate, develop, and close sales opportunities?'
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Rockwell Automation (Milwaukee, WI) in Aug 2023
Interview
Took 1 month to hear back from initial application. After that, I spent about 3-4 hours on the phone with various HR and manager personnel. Made it to final round (2 months after first applying) where I had to give a presentation and participate in a panel interview. While I appreciate the thorough process, I spent 8-10 hours on the phone, preparing, and presenting for this role. This does not feel very respectful of my time.
