I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Rose Rocket in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview was a positive experience overall. The process was well-structured, starting with an initial technical screening followed by a panel interview. The questions focused on problem-solving, coding fundamentals, and system design, with a good balance between theory and practical application. The interviewers were professional and approachable, creating a comfortable environment to discuss technical solutions as well as past project experience. The role and expectations were explained clearly, and there was time to ask questions about the company’s culture and growth opportunities.

Question 1
They stated what they are doing and how I can contribute?
It was a hot mess I had to go in and interview with 4 people on a panel (I was not informed of this at the time) and they also changed 2 of my interviews while I was in the office. I also was asked to find candidates as an "activity" for two of their current active roles.
Applied online on LinkedIn the job description was very simple, I tailored my resume for the job. They said they were looking for a recent grad with less than a year experience. Not many people applied because the initial posting was not up for long, but enough for a decent pool. I’ve heard really great things about their company but still got screened out. They did repost the listing on LinkedIn and knowing there are so many recent grads that applied, I find it hard to believe they couldn’t find a suitable candidate from the initial posting.
