I thought it was quite relaxed and was easy to answer questions because they were asked in a way that was more like a conversation than an interview. This made it more flowing and made me not as nervous.
Not too difficult, just a series of pre-seen questions sent via email beforehand and some other general stuff as expected. Not sure about handling of pre-booked holiday... Might just be my DO

Question 1
1. Why do you want to be a Postie for Royal Mail?
2. How would you ensure a positive and professional experience for every customer,
even under challenging circumstances, such as bad weather or high workload?
3. Can you provide recent examples of your physical fitness/endurance either at work
or in your own time that would demonstrate your suitability for this role?
4. We value flexibility and adaptability as every day will be different after an initial
settling in period. Are you comfortable and available to work in this way?
5. As part of this role, you’ll be required to drive a Royal Mail van to either deliver parcels to numerous locations or travel to your route. In addition, you’ll be responsible for your own vehicle checks and your adherence to RMG driver
standards. Are you confident that your driving skills are suitable?

Interview
Upon arriving on-site, I was given a tour of the warehouse and provided with an overview of how the operation runs, from how the post is sorted to how deliveries are prepared before heading out.
After the tour, I sat down with the interviewer for a series of questions. Be aware that the questioning can be quite challenging; however, this is their way of ensuring that, if successful, you fully understand the responsibilities and expectations of the role.
The entire process, including the tour and interview, lasted approximately one hour.
I’m now currently waiting to hear back regarding the outcome. Overall, I found the interview to be a valuable and positive experience.
