Was reached out to over Indeed, no initial screening, answered a list of questions over Indeed and was then briefly called to schedule an interview in person. Was told I would hear back after but unfortunately, I never did.

Question 1
Q: Tell me about yourself
Q: Very technical questions, no behavioural
Shortlisting CVs, scheduling interviews with respect to your availability, and conducting interviews with the head of the department are all steps in the recruitment process, currently awaiting further action from HR.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rubicon Research (Concord, ON) in Apr 2025
Interview
Applied through Indeed and got a quick reply about interview availability within 24 hours. After I sent them my availability, it was radio silence for over 2 weeks. Then I get an interview invite for an interview which was outside my availability times and the interview was due to start within the 30 mins of the invite being sent. At this point, I have already written the job off but I decided to hop on to see what the interview process is like.
The interviewer went straight to questions about experience before even introducing himself or explaining about the position and was clear that he was looking to see how many years experience I have which I already disclosed when I first applied (I had 4 years and they were looking for 4-7 years). Apparently that was too little and the interview ended shortly after. There were no technical questions or questions about my experiences etc.
Overall, impromptu and unprofessional. At least they went straight to the point to not waste time. Why list 4-7 years experience when 4 is not enough?
